Dorset Business Angels (DBA) have announced the date for their next investors’ pitch event which will take place on Monday 24thSeptember at the Hallmark Hotel Bournemouth Carlton and is urging potential investors to book a place at the popular event.
DBA Chairman Don McQueen advises, “As ever, we have three incredibly diverse pitches lined up to present to us which include:
· A Medical Science company which designs, develops and markets new patented technologies in healthcare, sterilisation and medical devices.
· A company which has created a smart phone app which connects donors of unwanted goods to charities and is now seeking to scale up their business and become the pre-eminent provider of goods donations services to the retail charity industry.
· A venue booking service, which after just 12 months trading now has over 15,000 venues live on its booking platform and is seeking investment to allow it to expand internationally.”
Don continued, “We welcome potential investors to come along, network and maybe discover an exciting, new investor proposition! Even if someone has not invested before you would be made very welcome.”
The evening will also include a presentation by one of the DBA sponsors, Investec Wealth & Investment UK. Senior Investment Director Robert Jones will be outlining how Investec are able to help their entrepreneurial clients with their investment affairs.
