Coleman Marine Insurance a Gallagher Company staff have welcomed a return to the office and opened the doors of its Poole Quay HQ.
MD Steve Risk advised, “Following a huge amount of work by our parent company Gallagher, we are delighted to have re-opened our Poole Quay HQ this week, returning a small number of our Team to the Office in order that we can follow all Government guidelines, the rest of our Team continue to work from home.
“It will be a gradual return for our 20 staff, of whom 5 will be in the office each day. It’s great to be back though and to see so many of our customers and friends from across the marine and business sector when strolling along the quay.”
Reflecting on the recent lockdown Steve said, “Being a part of a global brand, that is AJ Gallagher, has meant that we have been able to access increased resources and technical expertise throughout COVI-19 We’ve called upon expertise around risk management, staff well- being, working from home and returning to the office.
“As a global company our presence also means that we have access to lots of overseas territories and markets. We’ve been able to follow and engage with countries and regions that have been slightly ahead in their corona-19 journey. This has been useful in that we’ve been able to speak with colleagues and learn about their business journeys and learn invaluable lessons.
“I’m extremely proud how everyone at Coleman has excelled themselves during covid-19. The team have stayed absolutely true to the Gallagher culture, have been extremely robust and embraced the new ‘normal’ of home working. I’m proud of how nothing has got in the way of their mission to continue to provide outstanding customer service and many relationships, both with clients and colleagues, have been strengthened with these new levels of engagement and new means of communication.
