Cromer Pier Variety Show launches on 2nd July and is hosted by Britain’s Got Talent 2022 Finalist Ben Nickless!

The 2022 Cromer Pier Variety Show launches on 2nd July and runs until 1st October. It is hosted by ITV 1’s Britain’s Got Talent finalist, comedian ‘Ben Nickless’

The 2022 Cromer Pier Variety Show promises an explosion of live entertainment. Reviews described the 2021 production as “where the West End comes to the seaside. A must-see in Norfolk!”

The Cromer Pier Show boasts a diverse mix of entertainment which spans song, dance, magic, comedy and much more. The sets, costumes and dancers bring lots of glitz and glamour and the mix of traditional sets combined with sensational special effects from the new video wall creates production values worthy of London’s West End.

Introducing you to the cast of 2022:

·       The compere and host of the show is the uber talented comedian Ben Nickless who had an incredible performance in the Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals and won the public vote to win his much-deserved place in the final. Ben returns for his second year after performing as a guest act in 2021. Ben is well known for his quick wit, physical comedy and hilarious impressions. He has proved an extremely popular choice with audiences.

·       Performing at Cromer Pier theatre for the first time and promising to impress with her magnificent skills is circus artistNadia Lumley. Nadia has had an illustrious career and has performed with Cirque du Soleil and on stage and screen for Vivienne WestwoodEd Sheeran and Jay Z. Her performances on the Cyr Wheel, hula hoops and breakdancing are breathtaking.

·       Show-stopping vocal talents from Ferdinand De Leon and Holly-Jane Crowther. Ferdinand is from Los Angeles and performed in the UK for the first time at the Thursford Christmas Spectacular in 2021, Ferdinand has performed and travelled the world on-board luxury cruise liners.  Holly-Jane Crowther trained at D&B Academy of Performing Arts and The London School of Musical Theatre and has performed as a soloist in “Sunday at the Musicals”, Les Miserables the concert, South Pacific the Musical and Sleeping Beauty, to name just a few.

Show director, Rob Mcveigh said, “With a new Special Guest Act joining the cast every week, it’s like a brand-new theatre experience every time you visit and even more reasons to visit us over and over again. It’s been a tough couple of years for the theatre industry but with last year’s show receiving exceptional reviews and performances ending with rapturous standing ovations, the team have been working really hard to make the 2022 Cromer Pier Show even better!”

The Cromer Pier show opens on Saturday 2nd July with comedy ventriloquist ‘Steve Hewlett’ as guest act and runs until 1st October. It is a 2- hour show and includes a 30- minute interval. It is the only remaining full season end of pier variety show in the world! The show runs 6 days a week, with matinee and evening performances. Prices from £24 for an adult ticket and £15 for a child ticket.
